How We Do Concrete Work:

• Normally when we visit new jobs, they have existing concrete work that they want replaced for many reasons, from cracks, damaged surfaces, sunk down foundations and slabs or bad layout, concrete demolition and haul away would be our first step, depending on access, concrete demolition can be taken care of by man power and manual breaking tools(big heavy hammer), electric or air jackhammer, or using a heavy duty track loader with a jackhammer and for haul away, we normally fill up dump trucks or dumpsters with all the concrete rubble by hand or using a track loader and send it off for recycling 
• Depending on what you need, we might need to excavate into earth in order get the proper installation that we will recommend, excavation consists of digging, removing the dirt, spreading it in your back yard or hauling it away
• Forming is next on the list, a quality concrete job is 70% all about the forming, so getting it right and essential, as a general rule, the concrete will copy how the forms look, that is a good indicator that you can look for when reviewing a near by concrete contractors work, the most important aspect of forming is bracing and support, when pouring wet concrete, your are dealing with heavy weights, and you cannot risk having your forms getting loose in the middle of a pour
• We always recommend having a gravel bedding placed under any concrete slab, why we use gravel under the concrete slab? well the earth the concrete is on is constantly moves which normally cracks the concrete due to its weight, adding a gravel bedding eliminates the concrete slab from receiving the full force of the earth moving which greatly reduces the chances of the concrete cracking
• Reinforcement of concrete using metal rebars, rebars need to be laid as a grid, normally 12" - 16" of center to support the core of the concrete 
• Concrete time!  this process can be a piece of cake or it can break your back, using the right method of concrete transportation, covering all walls, doors and windows that might get concrete splashed on, having the right amount of man power will allow you to pour concrete smoothly and finish it as needed without loosing your back
• We poured concrete, is the job done yet? nope, a job is not completed until the job site is clean of scrap materials, tools and yard is straighten up, then we are done
